Snooker fans in Lancashire will have the chance to watch the sport’s biggest stars in December as the Shoot Out returns to the famous Blackpool Tower Circus.

The Shoot Out was originally held at the Blackpool Tower Circus from 2011 to 2015 and is still rated by many players and fans as the best ever venue for this unique tournament.

Ever present on the calendar since 2011, the Shoot Out has a unique set of rules, with all matches lasting a maximum of ten minutes. There is a shot clock of 15 seconds for the first five minutes and ten seconds for the last five, so players must keep their nerve and think fast.

The world ranking event generates a fantastic atmosphere with drama on the baize guaranteed throughout the four days, as the 128-player field is reduced to one champion. Tom Ford lifted the trophy this season in Leicester.
