When is The Blackpool Tower Circus Pantomime?
Are there spaces for guests with a wheelchair in the Circus?
There are 8 wheelchair spaces in the Circus. These spaces can be booked by calling 0871 222 9929.

Are pushchairs allowed in the Circus?
Pushchairs/buggies are not permitted into the arena; however they can be left in the buggy park, on the ground level.
How long does the Circus show last?
Circus shows last for around 2 hours (including interval).
When are the Circus shows?
The Blackpool Tower Circus main season runs from April to November (5th April to 9th November 2014 | 2015 dates TBC)
The Circus Panto
The Blackpool Tower Circus Panto runs from November to January (22nd November 2014 – 18th January 2015 | 2015-2016 dates TBC)

The Blackpool Tower Circus does not perform every day. Please check The Blackpool Tower Circus performance times and dates prior to your visit here. Seats for The Blackpool Tower Circus are allocated on a first come first served basis. Booking online does not guaranteed seats for a specific day, please select a Circus performance when you arrive at The Blackpool
How often do the Dungeon tours happen?
The tours start approximately every 15 minutes.
Are there any height restrictions in the Dungeon?
To ride Drop Dead: Drop ride to Doom you have to be taller than 1.2 meters and it is not recommended for pregnant women, people with heart conditions or bad backs. Some areas have strobe lighting, but you will be warned before reaching these areas.
Can I take food or drink into the Dungeon?
No food or drink can be consumed in the Dungeon.
Can I spend the day in the Dungeons and go on the rides that I liked again, or is there a time limit?
Your ticket is for a tour and due to the set-up of the Dungeon shows, you will not able to re-enter the Dungeon. The tour lasts approximately 1 hour.
Can you use cameras within the Dungeon?
No, flash photography is not permitted in the Dungeon.
Can pregnant women visit the Dungeon?
Yes, however, the tour is approximately 1 hour long and Drop Dead: Drop ride to Doom is not recommended for pregnant women. This will be at the discretion of the individual concerned.
Is the Dungeon accessible for guests with a disability?
Due to the size of the show rooms, a maximum of two guests requiring the use of a wheelchair or one requiring a mobility scooter can be permitted per tour.
The tour is fully wheelchair accessible up to show nine, when the actors request customer assistance and take the guest down in the lift for the final show.
Drop Dead: Drop ride to Doom - guests must be able to maneuver themselves into the seat and support their head unaided, as there is only a crash bar and no other harness. - Guests who cannot fulfill this criteria will be directed into the gift shop instead.
There is a toilet with disabled access located within this attraction.

Are children permitted into the Dungeon?/Is the Dungeon for everyone?
The Blackpool Tower Dungeon is a dark, smelly, noisy place and will show you the scary side of Lancashire's history. There are areas which have enclosed spaces and will make you feel scared at some points. Due to the nature of the attraction you should expect jump out scares and unexpected frights.
We recommend that the minimum age for a child to enjoy The Blackpool Tower Dungeon is 8 years, however many children under this age visit and have a great time. The Blackpool Tower Dungeon may also not be suitable for those of a nervous disposition.
When is The Blackpool Tower Eye closed?
Please note: The Blackpool Tower Eye will be open at WEEKENDS ONLY due to essential maintenance work taking place mid-week from Monday 10th November – Friday 19th December and Monday 4th January – Friday 6th March. All combination tickets are valid for 90 days from purchase and can still be used to visit The Blackpool Tower Eye at weekends within the 3 month validity.
Does the weather affect the opening of The Blackpool Tower Eye?
If the wind is above 45mph then we have to close The Eye for health & Safety purposes. Don't worry though; your tickets are valid for 90 days from day of purchase.
Is there a height/age restriction at Jungle Jim's?
Jungle Jim's. Children under the age of 15 and under 4ft 9 (90cms) can use the equipment.
Do under 3's go free at Jungle Jim's?
All children (aged 0 - 14 years) wishing to use the play equipment in Jungle Jim's must pay.
Timed sessions at Jungle Jim's
Due to the huge popularity of Jungle Jim's, we operate set timed sessions. Sessions will be colour coded and will last for up to one hour. One entry per child. Tickets must be exchanged for a wristband.
Can adults enter the play equipment in Jungle Jim's?
Merlin excludes adults from the equipment to comply with the Child Protection Act. Parents or guardians can supervise their children from the green walkways in Jungle Jim's.
Do children need to wear socks when using the equipment in Jungle Jim's?
Yes, to prevent friction burns and possible infection. If needed, socks can be purchase for 50p at Jungle Jim's reception.

Merlin Entertainments' special charity, Merlin's Magic Wand, puts the magic back into the childhoods of seriously ill, disabled and disadvantaged children across the world.
By providing tickets and financial support in the form of travel grants, they help thousands of children and their families to have magical days out every year.
For children who are too unwell for a day out, they deliver exciting Taking the Magic to the Children projects, ranging from sensory rooms to specially adapted playgrounds.

When will the scaffolding on The Blackpool Tower be taken down?
The scaffolding currently covering part of The Blackpool Tower’s structure is part of a seven year restoration project which is planned to be completed by the end of 2015.
Where do I find a Risk Assessment for School Bookings?
Are animals permitted in The Blackpool Tower?
Animals are not permitted into The Blackpool Tower building with the exception of disability dogs.
What are the opening hours?
The Blackpool Tower is open daily from 10am and closed Christmas Day. Please see our opening times page for more information.
Can I use Tesco Clubcard vouchers?
Clubcard Attraction Tickets for The Blackpool Tower Circus must be exchanged at the ticket desks for a specific Circus show, these are distributed on a first-come first-served basis.
Do you offer concession / student prices?
We do not offer concession or student prices, however if you book online you will receive a discount on our walk-up rates.

I have a voucher, can it be used?
Each voucher has specific conditions with visit date restrictions, please read the voucher carefully. No two offers can be used with each other and cannot be used for combination tickets or advanced bookings. please visit the voucher terms and conditions page for additional information

I forgot to buy a souvenir photo – can I still get one?
Photos taken by our Photography teams are held for a short period of time, if you forgot to buy your photo or decided too late you can contact us on the following email:
When emailing please include the number from the photo card given when the photo was taken, if this is not available please include the date of visit, approximate time, a description of the guests featured in the photograph and your phone number. A representative from our Photography team will then get back to you about your enquiry.
How do I get to The Blackpool Tower?

Is there parking nearby?
The Blackpool Tower doesn’t have its own Car Park; however there is plenty of parking nearby. Visit our How to get here page for more information.
Is there full wheelchair access at the Blackpool Tower Attractions?
Guests who use a wheelchair can visit everywhere within The Blackpool Tower attraction with the exception of the Ballroom balconies. Please visit our Disabled Policy page for more information.
Where are the toilets?
There are toilets situated in each of the attractions as well as on Level 5 at the back of The Burger Kitchen.
Where can I get food from?
The Blackpool Tower Burger Kitchen is open 7 days a week. The Blackpool Tower Coffee Company is open 7 days a week. On the Sea View Terrace. For those visiting The Ballroom, Afternoon Tea's, sandwiches and light snacks are available from the tea bar. For those visiting Jungle Jim's a selection of cakes and light snacks are available from the Harbourside Cafe.
Is The Blackpool Tower Free?
For the very first time The Blackpool Tower is now free to enter!
Here you can wander round this beautiful building, watch people dancing from The Ballroom balconies (for a small nominal charge), look out over the Comedy Carpet from the Sea View Terrace, as well as visiting the Intergalactic Games Zone, The Eye & The Dungeon shops and The Blackpool Tower Burger Kitchen.
We do charge for entrance to each of our attractions and tickets can be purchased from the admissions desks.
What is the Blackpool BIG Ticket?
The Blackpool BIG Ticket is our ultimate combination ticket gaining you entry to all 7 of our Blackpool attractions (The Blackpool Tower Eye, Dungeon, Circus, Ballroom & Jungle Jim's, Madame Tussauds and SEA LIFE). Tickets are available from £32.60 and are valid for 90 days. Or if you're planning on just visiting The Blackpool Tower, the Tower Ticket may be for you, with entry to the 5 Blackpool Tower attractions (The Blackpool Tower Eye, Dungeon, Circus, Ballroom & Jungle Jim's).

Children under three years are admitted free to The Blackpool Tower Eye, Ballroom and Dungeon
The Blackpool Tower Circus
Children aged 1-2 will be charged at the ‘Toddler’ admission price to enter The Blackpool Tower Circus (£5.95)
Children under 1 year are permitted into The Blackpool Tower Circus free of charge but must sit on an adults knee.
Prams, push chairs and buggy’s are not permitted into The Blackpool Tower Circus and must be left in the buggy park on the ground floor level adjacent to The Blackpool Tower Dungeon shop
All children under 90cm will be charged at the ‘Toddler’ admission price to enter Jungle Jim’s (£6.50) Children from the age of 3 up to the height of 4ft 92” with be charged at the ‘Child’ admission price to enter Jungle Jim’s (£3.00).
Can a child visit The Blackpool Tower on their own?
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or older.
Do you offer a discount for guests with a disability?
If you are able to provide evidence of your disability (e.g. blue/orange badge, award letters or similar), you will be able to visit the various attractions at the full rate, with one carer being admitted free of charge.
Getting admission via online Tickets
We ask that you print your tickets at home and bring them along when you visit because this makes your entry as fast as possible. But, if you can’t print them – don’t worry! If you have a smart phone or similar, simply display your booking email and bring the card you booked online with and we will admit you to the attraction.
Promotional vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with online bookings.
Tickets are valid for the date selected.

"Group of 4" Tickets
A ‘Group of 4’ ticket is valid for any combination of adults or children, however it must include at least one adult.
I have a Merlin Annual Pass, can I pre-book?
As with all Merlin Entertainments attractions, there is no pre-booking available. We are aware that our Circus shows have limited capacity and are working on a solution.
I have not received my print at home tickets?
With a reference number you can still collect your tickets on the day, alternatively contact 0871 222 9929.

My Annual Pass has been lost/stolen, what do I do?
Return to the attraction that issued the Annual Pass for a replacement card. There will be a £10 re-issue fee per pass.
