Diamond Jubilee Gala Concert

Celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in style at our Gala Concert

There will be music from The Diamond Jubilee Orchestra, directed by Mike James, celebrating the period of the Queen's reign, from the classic tunes of the war years to popular tunes of today. Recreate some of the most iconic film and theatre music of the last 60 years together building towards a grand finale of flag waving standards with songs such as Land of Hope and Glory.

Some of England's finest musicians will perform throughout this evening, including Phil Kelsall M.B.E. playing the mighty Wurlitzer organ, guest artiste international Violinist Victoria Yellop and Matty Roberts with his tribute to the swing singers, all set in the splendour of The Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
