Blackpool is the place to be this June with some right royal goings-on for the Jubilee. Whether you want to rub shoulders with the Monarch, meet Prince William and Catherine or go to a street party with a difference, then the seaside town is your one stop shop for an action packed party.
The Blackpool Tower Ballroom
The Blackpool Tower Ballroom is the place to be for the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend – with three big royal events.
On Saturday 2 June enjoy An Evening Of Dance Showcase with FOUR Strictly Come Dancing professionals, followed by an evening of dancing and partying on the world famous dance floor!
Sunday 3 June has something for everyone, with a dance evening full of classic tunes from the Queen’s 60 year reign.
On Bank Holiday Monday (4 June), the Ballroom is the only place to be as visitors will be treated to a Diamond Jubilee Gala Concert with songs performed live by the Diamond Jubilee Orchestra.
Finally, to finish the Jubilee in style why not be at the massive indoor street party in the Ballroom on Tuesday 5 June with children’s show, fancy dress, food and fun for all the family. See website for full details, prices and timings.
The Blackpool Tower Eye
For those with a head for heights, why not pay a visit to The Blackpool Tower Eye for some royally stunning views of the North West’s coastline. The newly refurbished Tower top gives 360 degree views and there’s an all new SkyWalk for the really brave.
Before hitting the top guests get to experience a 4D show celebrating the sights (and smells) of Blackpool’s history.
The Blackpool Tower Circus
The all new Circus Show is now on and will run over the Jubilee weekend and beyond. The Mooky V Boooffalo Bill show has a distinct Wild West theme. Boooffalo Bill brings his show to town including acts such as the Russian Swing, Wire Walking, Russian Bar, Horizontal Bar and the infamous Water Finale.
Great fun and excitement for all the family!
Madame Tussauds Blackpool
Madame Tussauds is the ideal place to get up close and personal with your favourite celebrities. New for the Jubilee weekend is the arrival of HM the Queen, where she will reside alongside the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge’s wax figures. All three are in their own best of British room alongside some of the country’s great and good. So whether you want to mingle with royalty, sing with Cheryl Cole or practice your sit ups with David Beckham, Madame Tussauds Blackpool makes for a regal day out.
With such a wealth of regal Jubilee fun to enjoy, guests will be spoilt for choice in Blackpool this June.
